Consists of at least eight multi-family residential buildings erected by the Gardiner Hall Jr. Co. along Village Street between 1872 and 1878. The buildings include six two-story wood-frame duplexes with hipped roofs and either one- or two-story wrap-around porches, and two two-story wood-frame boarding houses with gable roofs and dormers. Additional housing in the area, including multi-family residences at the northern end of Village Street and near the intersection of Center and Village Streets, may have also been associated with the company.
