At least five.
Mid 19th c.
Associated with the New York Net and Twine Co.’s East Mill. Consists of at least five single-family wood-frame houses (43, 45, 47, 49, and 51 Falls Road) located along the north side of Falls Road in the vicinity of the former mill site, which were all identified as being the property of the New York Net and Twine Co. on an 1874 map of East Haddam. Additional housing in the area was likely also associated with the mill, however, later maps do not identify ownership of residential buildings.
