Brief Description

Consists of seven single- and multi-family wood-frame residential buildings situated in a closely spaced row along the east side of Kennedy Drive opposite the Nightingale Mill (#3653) that are identified as belonging the to mill’s owner, G.C. Nightingale on an 1869 map of the area. All but one of the houses have seen notable alterations, these generally consisting of the addition of Bungalow-style full-width front porches or substantial rear additions. Additional housing owned by Nightingale once stood immediately south of the aforedescribed residences, however this was demolished during the late 20th c.
