Associated with the three nearby mills formerly operated by Pratt, Read and Co. (#1152, #2978, and #2917). Consists of roughly two dozen single- and multi-family wood-frame houses located along Bridge, Spring, and Union Streets, west of Main Street. The majority of the housing built and owned by Pratt, Read and Co. consists of a standardized single-family, two-story, front-gabled vernacular design, however, side-gabled or duplex-style residences can also be found.
