Four.
Mid 19th c.
Consists of four multi-family wood-frame residential buildings listed as the property of O.M. Stillman, proprietor of the Stillmanville Woolen Mill (#2685), on an 1868 map of the area. The buildings include the two three-family Greek Revival houses at 86 and 88 Stillman Avenue, the one-and-a-half-story Federal residence with a Y-shaped footprint at 94 Stillman Avenue, and the two-and-a-half-story three-family vernacular tenement at 105 Stillman Avenue. The area surrounding the mill is known as Stillmanville and many of the houses were likely associated with the mill, however, only these four are clearly identified as such on available historic maps. O.M. Stillman’s personal residence was formerly located at the northeast corner of what are now Arch and Race Street, however, it was demolished during the mid-to-late 20th century.
