Brief Description
Built during the First World War by the United States Government under the auspices of the Emergency Fleet Corporation. Of particular note are some 16 wood-frame semi-detached residences, which are of several standardized designs created by architect Eugene J. Lang of New York, New York. Numerous wood-frame single-family houses can also be attributed to the project.
