from c.1980s HRI survey form: 'This factory building has seen many changes and alterations; however, the original sluiceway is still intact. The building is a long gable roofed structure, with many double hung windows. The building sits on a beautiful cut granite foundation. The building was once used by Comstock Cheney Co. to make brackets for piano keyboards, hence the name Bracket Lane.'
