Historic Narrative

Earliest buildings built by/for Maggi Co., a Swiss company founded in 1884, which made food such as protein-rich legume flour, powdered soup and bouillon cubes. It was acquired by Nestle SA in 1947, and Nestle operated the New Milford plant as a research and development center until 2002 when it sold the division to Givaudan Flavors Corp. which closed in 2006.
