See 2016 National Register Nomination Form The 1900 Sanborn Insurance Atlas identifies the building as a 'carriage repository' for Mansuy and Smith; the factory itself, on the opposite side of Elm Street, was demolished. By 1909, the building was converted to an automobile showroom for Rambler, Abbott-Detroit and Firestone-Columbus.
