Grist mill and dam developed and run by Captain Moses Dimon before 1787. The site has also been the location of the Orlando Perry grain and lumber mill in the early-mid 19th century and of the Weston Toy Factory in the later 19th century. The existing "mill" building and dam were rebuilt by Gustav Pfeiffer c.1935. See article in Summer 2002 issue of the Chronicle Quarterly: chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.westonpubliclibrary.org/main/wp-content/uploads/Vol-23-No-2-Summer-2002.pdf. Building and dam are contributing resources to the Aspetuck Historic District.
